The “14 points” for Peace in the Caucasus studied by universities all over Italy. Rondine, in collaboration with the Inter-university Consortium G.E.O. (Interuniversity Center for Youth, Educational Process and Orientation Research), developed the project entitled ‘Peace Relations’ to promote a culture of peace. The set objectives are those of promoting the participative method and the use of direct democracy tools to be assumed as a model for active interventions in conflict management, promoting and supporting exchanges and interuniversity mobility, strengthening the relationship between society and the academic world and arousing civil participation of young people.
Meetings with Universities The project schedules an important formation action in universities through a series of meetings during which the students from the International Hall of Residence will be guests of the Italian universities supporting the project. During the meetings the students from Rondine will tell the story of the 14 points for peace in the Caucasus inviting Italian university students to reflect on the use of participative tools in peace building processes. (Currently scheduled meetings in G.E.O. universities can also involve other Faculties that are interested in participating to the project).
