Ours in not a simple trip, it’s THE TRIP.

A brave deed started by a group of friends, made of hope and interest for change, so not to forget the pain and suffering, but to use them as the starting point for a new path of opening and peace which can overcome the barriers of conflict.

After the first part of the project, concluded with the Conference of the Peoples of the Caucasus at La Verna in May 2009, a second phase has started to promote the Document and arouse an international feeling of sympathy and join the core of the involved populations.

The trip, heart of Phase 2, will see a delegation from Rondine travel to the Caucasus in July and meet all the institutional representatives of the involved peoples to deliver the ‘14 points’, receive support to the project and realize symbolic actions of commitment to peace.

It is a friendship trip which wants to take people’s voices to the highest Caucasian decision-making Tables so as to intervene directly in the Countries’ history.  A way to arouse and revive popular participation and encourage political and cultural dialogue.

The trip will represent the great interest to meet the fascinating and rich Caucasian cultures and traditions, through various moments of celebration in order to underline the common cultural roots of the region.

It will be a meeting with open arms to populations, people and friends touching the principle cities of the Caucasus with the objective of promoting a universal feeling of friendship and physical and spiritual closeness, laying foundations for concrete actions of cooperation and peaceful coexistence.
