Today a new chapter will be added to the story of the project ‘Ventidipacesucaucaso’: the Ambassador of Armenia in Italy, Rouben Karapetian, who already received the Document in 14 points last October in Rome, will visit the small Tuscan village of Rondine. He is thus maintaining his promise to visit the ‘Citadel’ after congratulating the Association and its students on their commitment. This visit enhances diplomatic relationships (friendship and collaboration) between Rondine and Caucasian institutions in view of the awaited trip to the region in July. Following a visit to the city of Arezzo, during which he will be welcomed by the president of the Province, Roberto Vasai, and the Mayor, Giuseppe Fanfani, the Ambassador will move on to Rondine where he will meet the students to reinforce the collaboration opportunities between Rondine and Armenia for the promotion of the Document in 14 points and to support a friendship and cooperation feeling among Caucasian populations.

At 6.30 p.m. Ambassador Karapetian will hold a meeting for the presentation of economic opportunities related to import and export activities of the Republic of Armenia. The appointment, open to all businessmen and organized by the Association of Entrepreneurs for Peace, with the contribution of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Crafts and Agriculture of Arezzo, aims at promoting contacts between the Italian and the Caucasian economic sectors. All this is in line with the fifth and the sixth point of the Document: respectively to “create the conditions where cooperation among companies throughout the Caucasus region is developed as the first step towards the construction of a common economic space and of a free trade area in order to promote economic integration and the free movement of people, capital, goods and services, with full respect for the environment” and to “support the investment of international companies, and in particular of European ones, in the economy of the whole region of the Caucasus and promote a plan of financial incentives to encourage the development of local entrepreneurial capacities and the socio-economic growth of the region”.
