Since yesterday the ‘14 points’ are in fact known by the American, British, Australian, Peruvian, Macedonian, Albanese, Serbian, Bosnian, Montenegrin and Turkish diplomacy. This is because during the meeting at the residence of Ambassador Diaz a special moment was dedicated to the presentation of the “Ventidipacesucaucaso” project. An opportunity which was taken by Rondine delegation, composed of the President of the Association, Franco Vaccari, the responsible for International Relations, Mauro D’Andrea, the responsible for Relations with Universities, Giulia Pierucci, and the students of the International Hall of Residence, Guy, Kan, Rouba, Ana and Armend (coming from countries in the Balkans, the Caucasus and the Middle East) who delivered the document in 14 points to the ambassadors, explaining the reasons and the ideas in the document. The importance of this opportunity was then demonstrated by Ambassador Diaz himself who underlined the importance of the project using important words during his intervention at the International Conference on Religions, Cultures and Human Rights promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs: “Rondine is a good example of popular diplomacy, with its experience which is carried out mainly by young university students”. By the students of Rondine themselves, who take their idea of peace to politics. And Diaz also explained: “Coming from a country like America, where intercultural encounter belongs to everyday life, I appreciate even more this project, a project of young university students”.
