Euro MPs to meet at Rondine for Caucasus on February 19^th.

“Episodes like this will not stop activities promoting a new mentality”: stated Franco Vaccari, president of the Italian association Rondine Cittadella della Pace, after  today’s suicide bombing at Moscow Domodedovo airport that, for the moment, has caused more than thirty deaths and hundreds of injuries. “We feel particularly close to the victims’ families, parents and friends”, Mr. Vaccari added. His organization is committed to the reception of young students coming from countries in conflict or crisis situations, including also Russians and Caucasians. “We firmly condemn the severe attack, he concluded, we want to express our solidarity with Russian authorities and we invite them to continue along the path of reconciliation and change: Rondine did it with its Friendship Trip to the Southern Caucasus and Turkey last July and will do it again next February 19, day on which it will be the meeting place for around twenty bipartisan Euro MPs to promote an important peace project for the Caucasus, Ventidipacesucaucaso (Winds of peace on Caucasus).
