Rondine’s commitment for the resolution of conflicts in the Southern Caucasus continues, after the Friendship Trip last July, developing a special project of confidence-building and training, supported by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
Forty young Caucasians are awaited at the International Hall of Residence of Rondine for a two-week special camp, financed by the UN, during which they will live the sharing experience of Rondine (Arezzo) and they will learn professionals skills to work in the field of conflict resolution.
The young university students or graduates will enter the peace and dialogue climate  in which the young students of the Citadel of Peace have been living for years, with the contribution of 10 young Italian operators from non-governmental organizations. After this they will participate to a cycle of lessons and workshops.
The main subjects of the workshops will be writing for journalism, European project planning, web designing, the environment and equal opportunities.
The programmed activities aim at teaching the young participants the necessary notions and technical competences to promote peace projects once they return to their home countries. Their 15-days stay at the International Hall of Residence will give the participants the opportunity to live close to young students from different peoples and peoples in conflict, as has happened for years at Rondine in an extraordinary spirit of dialogue and peace.
