 The students of the Yerevan State University after V.Brusov welcomed Rondine’s delegation singing “volare”, and it was an immediate success. Our friendship with this prestigious university goes back to 2008 and was consolidated with the participation of his illustrious Rector, Soren Zolyan, to the First Conference of the Peoples of the Caucasus, during which the document in 14 points was worked on.Referring to the document, the Rector was willing to underline that its strength is that it was created by students, thus presented as the “manifestation of a new spirit and a new way of thinking”.
The university, which flourished in 1935, has students coming from Russia, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, China, Iran, Iraq, Syria and Mexico and has 17 chairs, of which two were assigned by the UNESCO.
It is exactly from this academic institution that Rondine’s first Armenian student came from.
After signing the Protocol agreement between Rondine, the inter-university center GEO and the Yerevan Linguistic University, with promises of increasingly intense collaborations, president Vaccari received the medal of the 70th anniversary of the university.
A steady disposition to collaborate was also shown by the Yerevan State University, where the delegation presented the many possible opportunities of interaction and cooperation. Therefore, great collaboration opportunities have started also at this university and a new and profitable friendship hast started with Rondine and the Italian academic world.
